IKIGAI (BOOK REVIEW)

I get to read IKIGAI few days ago. Arguably this is one of the best books I have ever read. Following are some of the lessons that were able to attract my mind:

  1. Your reason to wake up in the morning. (Your passion, Ikigai, reason to live.)
  2. More focused on what you have and friends you have.
  3. Keep moving throughout the day to stay healthy.
  4. Only eat up to 80% of your belly.

Suicide

Wondering the sanity of being Reasons and purpose of living Middle of fire of insanity Drifting in the realms of vanity So peaceful, oblivious and empty Yet feared of own safety Mind becoming craftier on destruction Body bind by signals of mental function Edge of tower and fear of height Body doesn’t want it Yet mind always wins the fight Falling down and swift whispering of air Then the mind realizes that it’s not fare.

IDENTITY

Walking for the decades and miles Dead weight and worthless as flies Bound to end and suffer while alive Selfishness and materialistic is the drive I see you all and for what you are Immoral and vanity is your layer Above all else you think you lay One fall, and You break like all other pot clay Righteousness is your outer face When rubbed hard, Will reveal your monstrous menace Showing the fake identity is your play That is only the means to truth’s delay In the end,   It will always be the reality that will prevail Fake faces and layers will be the first to fail

Beauty

Beautiful those eyes in sight seeing makes my mind right Deep into your eyes ocean Bright is your face as thousand suns Fare and beautiful as a rose I want to be with you very close My knee gives up when you are in sight Even so seeing you makes my mind right Attraction and closeness is what i see Your voice is like a bird song when its free Never will i be tired of your beauty Admiring beauty is what i think is my duty Never will you be mine Alone and Free is what makes you shine.
